Sarah is a Licensed Processional Counselor Candidate at Mayfield Counseling Centers.
Life can be challenging sometimes. We all need someone to walk with us on our journey as we become self-aware, heal from past wounds, and meet our goals. I would be honored to be that person. With a non-judgmental presence, it is my aspiration to support and encourage you as you create the life you desire. I am passionate about working collaboratively as you gain hope for your future. I believe sharing our stories can be liberating. I see it as a high honor to sit with you and hear about yours. I was born and raised outside of Chicago. I moved to Colorado Springs three years ago and became a Kindergarten Teacher. Over time, I came to realize my love for mental health was growing quickly. I felt a strong desire to walk alongside people who were going through challenges. I knew I needed to follow this passion and I am grateful for the opportunities in which it has led me. I am so blessed to live in Colorado and I love to explore the outdoors. Hiking gives me peace as I practice being present on the breath-taking trails. I also enjoy planting, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
