We are each born into the world looking for someone who’s looking for us, and we remain in this mode of searching for the rest of our lives. My goal as a counselor is to create an environment where my clients can feel truly seen and deeply accepted. Although I am still developing my therapeutic approach, I enjoy utilizing cognitive behavioral techniques and Adlerian therapy, which both seek to understand and address the underlying thoughts and beliefs driving outward behaviors and struggles. I am prepared to walk alongside clients struggling with depression; anxiety; shame and negative self-talk; boundary setting, attachment, and communication issues; developmental and life transitions; and spirituality and religion.
When we take the courageous step to invite someone into our inner world, we allow them to see who we truly are, and in doing so, hope begins to resurface. I believe that the counseling process can help renew hope in your life as you uncover and implement the tools needed to achieve your goals. I am excited to join you on your journey.
