Life holds deep beauty and goodness. It also presents challenging, and perhaps unwanted circumstances. The dissonance between the life we expected, and our present reality may diminish hope for the future. Our impulse may be to back away from people around us, but no one heals in isolation. I believe we were created for relationships where we experience feeling seen, safe, soothed, and secure. As we courageously invite a safe person into our life to process our story, hope slowly begins to re-emerge.As a counselor, I desire to create a safe space where you can share your story without fear of judgement or shame. Counseling is a collaborative effort, so we will work together to implement tools which allow you to move toward your desired goals. My hope is that through our time together you will gain a greater sense of self, allowing you to realize your capacity for growth and healing. I use an empathic approach and believe each client holds incredible dignity and worth. I draw from techniques including Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Attachment. It is my honor to be a part of this journey with you.In my free time, I love all things outdoors. I enjoy hiking, running, gardening, and hosting summer dinners in my backyard. I’m originally from Pittsburgh and have lived in Washington DC and Atlanta before moving to Colorado Springs in 2021.
