We all have different experiences as we ebb and flow through life. At some point,
we inevitably face hardship and struggle. Whether you are working through daily
life stressors, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, loss, or just seeking guidance to
grow and flourish, I am here to join you just as you are. My therapeutic approach is
mostly person-centered mixed with mindfulness and some existential and solution-
focused therapy. The challenges we face do not define us, but they do impact our
well-being and how we move through life. I’m here as a reminder that you do not
have to do it alone. Sometimes all we need is the space and support to thrive in our
authenticity.
I am originally from Oklahoma but moved to Colorado Springs after graduating
college in 2016. I have always known I wanted to work with people, which is why I
initially went into the hospitality industry. I loved certain aspects of it, but after a
few years I realized that I was craving a career with deeper human connection. I
feel very passionate about the importance of prioritizing mental health, and what
better way to promote that than by infiltrating the system and becoming a mental
health counselor. For my own self-care, I like to spend my time with the people and
animals I love, getting creative with things like art and cooking, or enjoying the
outdoors while kayaking or on a nice hike. Nature, music, and yoga/meditation are
my personal ways of healing.
