Life can be good, as well as painful. Interacting with imperfect people can also make life complicated. By overcoming struggles, losses and going through my own personal counseling journey, I have experienced the strength, hope and insight needed to overcome life’s pain and discover the hope and good that is still available. When life or relationships hurt and are confusing, we need a safe place to feel held in our suffering, to grow through it and celebrated when we succeed. I desire to be a safe place and committed support to those broken and hurting; to help them become stronger, heal and move forward in a positive direction. It is an honor to learn from others and grow in compassion and respect as I listen to their story.
Being a military wife has given me a deeper appreciation and curiosity for the different perspectives and values of other cultures and how they shape our lives. As a Colorado native, I love exploring the adventure and beauty the rugged outdoors offers. Traveling to new places, mountain biking, hiking, or snowboarding are some of my favorite hobbies. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and keeping things lighthearted with laughter and jokes. Quality time spent with family and friends, or in nature, is most often my greatest joy and a reprieve for my soul.
