“I not only have my secrets, I am my secrets. And you are your secrets. Our secrets are human secrets, and our trusting each other enough to share them with each other has much to do with the secret of what it is to be human.” – Frederick Buechner

Most of my adult life has been spent in church ministry in various capacities ranging from youth ministry to worship ministry and ultimately to ordained ministry as an Anglican Priest. There were many deeply meaningful aspects to serving in these roles. However, my favorite moments were sitting with people in their brokenness, bearing witness to their heartache, and celebrating their joys and victories.

In my own journey, it has been on the therapist’s couch where I have most profoundly encountered the hope that comes with healing. Attuning to another person’s story is what allows us to know hope and healing and to know we are not alone. It is the greatest gift to be truly seen and still be welcomed. I desire to hold the same sacred space for all who undergo the courageous work of therapy. You are always welcome in this sacred space.

Clinically, I integrate various theoretical frameworks and techniques to work with you as the client to best achieve your goals. I mostly utilize Relational Psychoanalysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Whether you ascribe to a religious tradition of any sort or not, spirituality can be a significant aspect of a person’s life. I am happy to integrate spirituality to any degree that you would like or not at all. Whether you want to address past or recent trauma, process a recent life transition, or anything in between, I would be honored to walk along that path with you.

In my spare time, I find great joy in hanging out with my family and playing games (I can be wildly competitive) or watching movies. Being an introvert, it is also nice to have time alone to read or play music. I am not a skier as many are, but I do greatly enjoy hitting the many incredible hiking trails we have here in Colorado.
