Valdez-Hasbrouck Memorial Fund

Heather Valdez-Hasbrouck, a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on Sunday January 14th, 2018, she was 37. She struggled with Bi-polar disorder for much or her adult life.
Heather was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and as a part of an Air Force family, she grew up in many locations. She eventually found her way back to Colorado Springs, along with most of her family. Heather loved the outdoors and found a sense of peace in nature around her. She appreciated the beauty of nature and spent time hiking across Colorado and even into Wyoming.
She found beauty in the small things, and her mild-mannered kindness and gentle soul never failed to touch the people she spent time with. Her care, love, and empathy for the people she took care of were her legacy. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, and consistently instilled a sense of serving others into her children. Heather was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend.
This scholarship fund has been created in memory of Heather and desires to carry-on her legacy of care, love, and empathy. The scholarship fund is specifically designed for individuals, couples, and families who cannot fully pay for counseling, but so desperately need the services.
Would you consider giving today to keep Heathers tradition of care, love, and empathy alive!?
