Counseling takes courage, effort, and commitment no matter when or how we do it. Group counseling can be a very healing process that occurs in the company of people who likely share similar pieces of your story. Once individuals build mutual rapport and trust in a group setting, alliances naturally result. Members become friends who are comfortable supporting each other as well as challenging one another when someone seems to be struggling and may not realize it.
Group counseling is less expensive than individual sessions. Plus, group members don’t charge one another for phone calls during the week. Group members become your best allies in the war on whatever you are wrestling: i.e., substance addiction, sexual addiction, identity issues, self-worth, parenting, special-needs parenting, grief and loss, or anything else our world seems to throw at us. Our counselors are skilled at facilitating group discussions and educated in various special-interest topics to meet your needs. We offer several different groups to help you address, confront, and get beyond battles you have been trying to face alone.
